Speed Bump

This past Saturday we were supposed to attend an all-day training class. It would have been the last Saturday class and the next-to-last class overall. However, on Wednesday, Olivia woke up from her afternoon nap with a high fever and she was very irritable. By Thursday morning, she was not sleeping or eating hardly at all. She also asked for us to give kisses to her ear. A doctor's visit confirmed our suspicion of an ear infection. On Friday she started to improve, but we thought it would be best if we stayed with her on Saturday since she was still fussy and not really eating. Our agency offers the training classes usually every other month. So that means most likely we will have to wait until April to complete this Saturday class. According to the information from our agency, they do not begin the Homestudy (Step #2) until after we complete all of the training classes. I'm praying that they are able make an exception for us and let us continue on with the process before we complete the Saturday class. We just really want to get through the licensing phase as quickly as possible so that we can begin waiting for a placement!
