The List is Getting Shorter

We're slowing checking off the list of requirements to be completed before our homestudy begins. We scheduled an appointment to be fingerprinted for a background check. We still need to get TB tests for everyone (I'm not excited about that since Olivia has a fear of the doctor's office and her doctor). We also still need to do a make-up training class. It sounds like Arrow will let us make it up before it is regularly scheduled which is great for us!
On Monday, we had a fire marshall come to do a fire/safety inspection of our house. Last night, we attended another training class. That class dealt with the many ways children come into care along with the type of paperwork a foster/adoptive parent has to complete each week for the child. There is definitely a lot of required paperwork! It would be manageable with 1-2 foster children but I couldn't imagine completing the paperwork for many more than that! Yet there are awesome foster parents out there that have 3+ foster children at a time! Anyways, our list is getting shorter and we really do hope to start the homestudy in mid- to late March or early April.
