It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our house!!
We had a few days with BEAUTIFUL weather right after Thanksgiving.  We were able to even go outside without coats.  That is GLORIOUS especially since it is difficult to get a couple of our kids to remember to wear their jackets or to not leave them in the car!

On a day with the great weather, we drive to a tree farm and found our perfect Christmas tree, the kids helped with chopping it down.

Then, we had the kids drag it home....

(ok, not really!)

We came home and decorated it.  This year was Isabella's turn to help put the star on top.

 Here's the finished tree.  We kept it simpler this year and mainly used the kids' ornaments as decorations. The kids really enjoyed getting each of their ornaments out and talking about what year they were from and what each one meant.

Then we tackled decorating the kids' small trees that are in their rooms.  Olivia's of course has a PINK theme.

And the boys decorate their trees with Darth Vader looking on.
