Our family has remained loyal St Louis Cardinals fans (of course!) despite living in Houston. Each year, we try our best to go watch the Astros play the Cards at Minute Maid stadium. The benefit of watching them in Houston is that tickets are VERY CHEAP! Our whole family went and only spent $20!! Also, at the stadium there are always lots of other Cardinals fans, all wearing Cardinals clothing, hats, etc. Minute Maid is also a very nice stadium, it even has a play land area for the kids. The view of downtown Houston from the stadium on an evening with the roof open is just beautiful too.
This was Baby Sister's first time to watch the Cardinals play. She was appropriately decked out in a pink Cardinal's t-shirt and hat. She enjoyed dancing to the music that is played before each batter. She also got the attention of some teen boys sitting behind us and enjoyed squealing and smiling at them (she's a big flirt, seriously).
