This week marked the start of school. Aidan had his first day of first grade yesterday. He has always loved school, socializing with friends, and learning so he was very excited to go back. This year he's also excited because he gets to play on the "big kid" playground at school rather than just the kindergarten playground!

Yesterday, Olivia had her first ever ballet/tap class. We asked her if she would like to play soccer this fall or maybe t-ball next year...her response was NO! She wanted to be a ballerina and take ballet. So, we went ahead and signed her up for a weekly ballet class at a local Christian dance
studio. She LOVED her first class and is sad that she has to wait a whole week to go again! After her class yesterday, she came home and taught her favorite doll all the moves/stretches that she'd learned in class. It was adorable!
All ready to leave for class.

Today, Corey and Olivia started preschool. Corey went last year, but this is Olivia's first year. They both had an excellent day and are excited to go again on Thursday. Olivia is excited to make some "girl friends" she says, because most of the friends we know her age tend to be boys. Corey actually has Aidan's old teachers from when he was 4. I didn't know if they would remember our family, but they definitely did (I guess we're pretty memorable!). Corey's teachers are super sweet so I'm glad we get them again.

All three on Tuesday morning.
