7 more days!!

Here at the Jones house, we're counting down the days. 7 more days until Adoption Day! We're very excited!
Obviously, the adoption finalization is being talked about a lot around here. Aidan, in his typical way, has lots of questions about the big event. He keeps asking what the judge will look like, what the judge will say to us, if he'll get in trouble for missing school, etc. This morning he even asked if the police will be there "in case they decide we need to see jail." In case you don't know, Aidan is definitely a worrier and likes to know all the details of something.
"C" and Olivia are equally just as funny about things. Yesterday at breakfast Olivia prayed that she was excited to adopt "C" so that we can ride the train. I was puzzled so I asked her why she thought we were riding a train. I finally figured out that we have this Thomas book which is about Thomas the Train taking the "judge" to the train show. Olivia heard us talking about the judge for adoption day and assumed we would get to ride the train too! It's so funny sometimes how a kid's mind will work!! "C" has prayed almost daily to thank God that he gets a "forever mommy and daddy." Those prayers are just too precious.
