Last week, while the kids were eating breakfast Daniel called us. He was on his way to work and had seen a large rainbow. The kids and I went to the window and the rainbow was very large and bright over the sky. Aidan told Olivia and "C" about the rainbow being a sign of God's promise to Noah. And, Olivia told Aidan (in her cute but bossy voice) that she already knew that. It was difficult to get the kids to finish breakfast quickly because they kept wanting to take turns seeing the rainbow. After eating and finishing getting ready, we were off to take Aidan to school. The rainbow was still very large and bright in the sky even though it was 45 minutes later. On the drive to school, we slowly lost sight of the rainbow but I think it definitely brightened our morning.
